Ring the Bell for Gender Equality 2026: KASE to Hold a Trading Opening Ceremony as Part of the Global UN SSE Initiative

On March 5, 2026, the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) will hold the ceremonial trading opening “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality,” dedicated to the global United Nations initiative Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (UN SSE) and this year’s theme: “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls.”
This year, the event will be held in partnership with TechnoWomen at the HER Venture 2026 forum, bringing together representatives of the financial market, investors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. The main objective of the event is to support women who are transforming the world through technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, as well as to promote gender equality in the economy and investment sector.
The program includes expert discussions on equal access to finance and the development of women’s leadership, startup pitch sessions featuring women founders of technology projects, the symbolic ringing of the bell to mark the opening of trading, and professional networking.
KASE joined the UN SSE initiative in 2015 and has annually supported the international “Ring the Bell for Gender Equality” campaign aimed at strengthening the role of women in the economy, business, and public life. In 2025, more than 100 stock exchanges from over 100 countries joined the initiative, confirming its global scale and significance for sustainable development.
