TechnoWomen Contributed to a Regional Dialogue on Cybersecurity and Data Protection in Central Asia

TechnoWomen became part of an important regional platform dedicated to discussing cybersecurity and personal data protection in Central Asia.

On April 8–9, 2026, an international meeting was held in Almaty, bringing together representatives from government institutions and the private sector across the region. Key topics discussed included data localization, cross-border data flows, digital rights, and the development of cybersecurity awareness among the population.

Such dialogue platforms play a critical role in strengthening the region’s technological ecosystem, enhancing legal culture, and promoting sustainable approaches to digital transformation. Special emphasis was placed on increasing women’s participation and leadership in the digital space.

For TechnoWomen, participation in such initiatives represents not only engagement in dialogue, but also a tangible contribution to building a secure and responsible digital future in Central Asia.
