Technology for Social Change: TechnoWomen Launches the Tech for Impact Competition

The TechnoWomen community is proud to announce the launch of the Tech for Impact competition, a premier initiative for social and technological innovations organized under the umbrella of the Aqyl Tech and IT-Aiel projects.
The competition is dedicated to identifying and fostering high-impact initiatives that address critical social challenges. We welcome innovative solutions in fields such as education, employment, financial and digital literacy, Artificial Intelligence (AI), entrepreneurship, corporate and social inclusion, and regional empowerment.
Target Audience & Eligibility
The call for applications is open to visionary individuals and teams aged 16 to 35. Special emphasis will be placed on initiatives that promote the engagement of rural youth and young women in the digital economy.
We invite applications from:

Action groups and project teams;

NGOs and public associations;

Social entrepreneurs and early-stage startups;

Students, recent graduates, and young professionals;

Female-led teams and women entrepreneurs;

High school students (supported by a dedicated mentor or advisor);

Representatives of rural and regional communities.
Submission Guidelines
To enter the competition, applicants must prepare a concise project pitch deck (5–7 slides) detailing the following components:

Problem statement and target audience analysis.

The proposed technological or social solution.

Expected social impact and measurable outcomes.

Team profiles and core competencies.

Key partners (if applicable).
