Early Career Development Program in Digital Technologies and AI

AqylTech is a large-scale educational initiative by TechnoWomen aimed at developing digital skills and building early career pathways in information technology and artificial intelligence.

The program primarily targets young people under the age of 35 and contributes to preparing a new generation of specialists for Kazakhstan’s digital economy.

Program Scale

In 2025, 6,264 participants successfully completed the AqylTech program and received certificates.

The program covers all regions of the country:

  • Astana – 2,381 participants (38%)

  • Almaty – 1,375 (22%)

  • Almaty Region – 325

  • Aktobe Region – 203

  • Atyrau Region – 215

  • Other regions – from 25 to 187 participants

Approximately 60% of participants represent the two largest cities, while regions account for a significant 40% contribution.

AqylTech demonstrates strong engagement among young people:

  • 18–25 years – 31%

  • 26–35 years – 62%

  • Under 18 – 7%

93% of participants are under 35, confirming the program’s role as an early career development platform.

Employment Status:

  • Freelancers – 9%

  • Entrepreneurs – 7%

  • Temporarily unemployed – 13%

  • Housewives – 14%

Nearly one in four participants (27%) did not have a stable income at the start of the program.

Women represent 68% of participants (4,259 women), highlighting AqylTech’s contribution to increasing female participation in the technology sector.

Learning Tracks

Participants acquire modern digital skills, including:

  • chatbot development

  • AI-based graphic design

  • video editing

  • working with big data

  • process automation

The program emphasizes practical application and the development of competitive skills aligned with labor market demands.
