As part of this event, girls and women will receive free training in the areas of data analytics, creating their own business from a startup, digital transformation of SMEs from planning and adapting business to changes to the new Reality.
On Wednesday, March 13, 2024, the non-profit organization “TechnoWomen” will conduct a large-scale regional on-site training “TechnoWomen Almaty: Innovate your success”. As part of this event, girls and women will receive free training in the areas of data analytics, creating their own business from a startup, digital transformation of SMEs from planning and adapting business to changes to the new Reality.
Students and women entrepreneurs will study international trends/market of digital transformation and will be able to take part in a mentoring program organized under the auspices of “TechnoWomen”
“Our goal is to increase the number of women in the ICT sector to 45% in the coming years. Already today, about 30% of women work in the industry, but this is not the limit. Digitalization is a “blue ocean” for our girls, so we want to support women in all technological fields. Therefore, TechnoWomen conducts free trainings, master classes, conferences, and training courses,” noted Aziza Shuzheeva, Chairman of the Board of the NPO TechnoWomen.
“The main areas of training: building a strong brand, developing startups to the level of a confident business, increasing company profits through transformation, systematization and digitization of business processes,” shares co-founder of the TechnoWomen NGO Bikesh Kurmangalieva, General Director of the Digital Economy Development Center LLP. and others.
“The upcoming conference is an inspiring community for young women entrepreneurs and experienced businesswomen, as well as industry experts and investors,” noted Elena Sedykh, head of the Dogovor24 platform. “Such platforms always provide opportunities for growth, new acquaintances, and quality networking. Throughout the day, various educational and inspiring leadership events will be held to promote women entrepreneurs,” noted the moderator of one of the sessions, Victoria Torgunakova, leader of the NGO “TechnoWomen”, general director of the online ticket sales service Ticketon. It is expected that the conference in Almaty will be attended by more than 250 girls, from schoolgirls and students to founders of startup projects and successful businesswomen.
In addition, as noted by Ayaulym Ayaganova, Member of the Board of the NPO “TechnoWomen”, Co-founder, CEO of Acvee Finance, the NPO has a TechnoGirls club, focused on the development of technological entrepreneurship and the IT industry among girls aged 14 years and older. Also, together with Astana Hub, on March 1, the TechGirls educational program was launched for 3,000 girls from 16 to 23 years old.
