As part of the social project “RoboTechnoGirls”, a new program “Super100!” will begin in Astana for free training of girls in robotics.
From June 1 to August 31, 2024, “TechnoWomen” and the company “Robotek” as part of the social project “RoboTechnoGirls” are planning a new program “Super100!” in Astana for free training of 100 girls in the basics of robotics.
The project is being implemented with the support of the National Commission for Women’s Affairs and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic.
“Super100!” is aimed at overcoming gender imbalance, especially among students of technical faculties (IT, engineering, cybersecurity and others), as well as overcoming the gender stereotype about the priority of technical specialties.
The mission of “Super100” is to make STEM education accessible to girls. During the summer holidays of 2024, it is planned to organize free training in the basics of robotics for schoolgirls of grades 3-6 of the capital’s schools.
– “Super100” will help girls take the first and confident step into the future, help them decide on the choice of profession, create domestic intelligent technologies – noted the general director of the Robotek company, which is the operator of the project, Sanzhar Shalkarbekov.
The chairman of the board of the NPO “TechnoWomen” Aziza Shuzheeva is confident that “Super100” will increase the motivation of girls to study robotics, expand interest in information technology, engineering, and the implementation of artificial intelligence.
