November 10, 2022 was the very first holiday in the calendar of every employee in the IT industry. From now on, it is celebrated as a professional holiday – Digitalization and Information Technology Day.
“The relevant resolution “On amendments and additions to the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2017 No. 689 “On approval of the list of holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan” was signed by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov. The previously existing holiday, the Day of Communications and Informatization Workers, celebrated on May 17, has been renamed the Day of Communications Workers, ”the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry” reports.
In honor of the celebration of the day of digitalization and information technology, the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry
organized an event called “Digitalization. Origins”, where the founders of Kazakhstans IT, representatives of various IT companies and business structures were invited.
In its first year of celebration, Digitalization Day brought the best award to the president of our organization, Aziza Shuzheeva. “For the celebration of Digitalization Day, I received one of the most honorable awards for me, “Uzdik Tsiflundyrushy”. This is essentially a medal of Excellence in Digitalization, a sign of recognition of the contribution to the creation and development of “electronic government”, as well as the digital transformation of Kazakhstan,” Aziza Timurovna shares.
