“Understanding Your Target Audience and Building a Project That Truly Meets People’s Needs”
The opening webinar will introduce participants to practical methodologies for designing projects based on real challenges rather than assumptions. Understanding the problem and the people you serve is the foundation of every successful and sustainable initiative.

Irina Efimova – Founder of Excellent Educational Center, Mentor at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Expert of the European University Association, and Jean Monnet Professor.
During the webinar participants will learn:
- why every successful project starts with a clearly defined problem;
- how to identify target audiences and beneficiaries;
- what Customer Development (CustDev) is and how to conduct effective customer interviews;
- how to validate project hypotheses before implementation;
- how to use the Problem Canvas framework to analyze and structure project challenges.
Practical Session
Participants will also complete hands-on activities, including:
- filling out their own Problem Canvas;
- preparing interview questions for their target audience;
- receiving practical guidance for further project development.
