Round table on the development of e-commerce in the Republic of Kazakhstan

On August 13, 2024, the head of the e-commerce working group in Kazakhstan and a member of the Board of TechnoWomen NGO Alua Korpebayeva, with the support of the #IBECA program, held a productive and exciting hybrid meeting in an informal setting for sellers and experts in the field of e-commerce.

The event was attended by about 30 representatives of the private sector (manufacturers and sellers) and government agencies. During the meeting, key topics were discussed, such as the latest trends on local and foreign trading platforms, optimization of advertisements for the sale of goods, content management and the use of promotion tools. Participants from all over Kazakhstan shared their views on topical issues and presented recommendations on the development of e-commerce, touching on the topics of tax regimes, order fulfillment and simplification of customs procedures. The exchange of successful examples and best practices made the discussions especially valuable for all participants.
