On September 16, Almaty hosted one of the most anticipated events in technological entrepreneurship – Her Venture Kazakhstan 2025. The private venue at the Chamberlain Country Club brought together female leaders, investors, and founders of innovative startups.
The event was organized by the TechnoWomen community with the support of Most IT Hub and Silk Road Innovation Hub (Silicon Valley). The primary goal of the forum was to support women’s business initiatives and create conditions for the development of high-tech ideas.

The event was opened by Zhanar Kaliyeva, an investor at MOST Kazakhstan and Silk Innovation Hub, and Chairperson of the TechnoWomen Investment Committee. In her welcoming speech, she emphasized the growing role of women in shaping the future of Kazakhstan’s digital economy.

The centerpiece of the program was the pitching session of seven innovative projects. Each participant presented a solution aimed at digitalizing socially significant and business sectors:

Tobi AI (Zhanna Artego) – AI-based virtual employees that optimize business processes and increase efficiency by up to 30%.

Odos App / Vision Coach (Laura Abdukhalik) – A HealthTech ecosystem for the prevention of vision diseases with its own marketplace.

CheckDoc (Aktoty Smatova) – A service for conducting medical check-ups and tests at home followed by an online doctor consultation.

Foody AI (Elmira Aubri) – A personal AI nutrition assistant that forms healthy habits based on dietary analysis.

Winners and Investments
Following the presentations, the jury identified the best projects that received direct financial support for further scaling:

The grand winner was YerAI Prep. Its founder, Amin Khadyr, received $10,000 in funding from Zhanar Kaliyeva.

CheckDoc, led by Aktoty Smatova, received grant support from Yandex Cloud in the amount of 6,000,000 tenge.
Networking and Atmosphere
Beyond the business agenda, Her Venture Kazakhstan 2025 offered unique networking opportunities. Guests interacted with invited investors from the Middle East and Silicon Valley. The program featured unique interaction formats, such as a “Horse Leadership” session, a salsa masterclass, and a gala dinner, fostering trust and connections in an informal setting.
